The remaining dates of their highly anticipated "This is Why" U.S. tour have been canceled by iconic rock band Paramore, citing lead singer Hayley Williams' poor health.
The decision comes after Williams battled a lung infection, which forced the band to cancel four previous gigs.
Despite her best efforts, Williams and her physicians agreed that extending the tour could cause long-term harm.
Williams apologized in her statement to the fans who had been looking forward to the gigs in Portland and Salt Lake City.
She admitted that many people had likely altered their calendars in order to attend the concerts.
Williams expressed her sincere sadness for being unable to give the performances, as well as her physical inability to continue.
