Gal Gadot discusses her daughter's intriguing reaction to her role as the Evil Queen in the Snow White film.

Gal Gadot recently revealed her oldest daughter's reaction to learning she would portray the Evil Queen in the upcoming live-action Snow White film.

The Wonder Woman actor, who has daughters Alma, 11, Maya, 6, and Daniella, 2, with her husband, entrepreneur Jaron Varsano, spoke to PEOPLE about her daughters' "excitement" to see her in the film.

"My middle child was a little disappointed that I wasn't Snow White," Gadot concluded.

The Red Notice actress, on the other hand, stated, "When I told them I'm going to shoot Snow White for [a] month, she was convinced that I'm going to play Snow White."

"But when I told her, 'No, it's the evil queen,' my oldest said, 'Oh, how appropriate," Gadot remarked.

Interestingly, Rachel Zegler will play a leading princess in the future film, which will be released in theaters on March 22, 2024.

Gadot said of Zegler's princess character, "I wanted to make sure that we keep her delightful and delicious, and that we understand what makes her tick." Then the evilness becomes intriguing rather than dull."

Gadot previously claimed in an interview with Vogue Hong Kong, "I think it was so much fun to play the Evil Queen."
