Kim Kardashian sincerely wishes to give 'lifesaving' technology, but it comes at a high cost.
Kim Kardashian has been chastised for being "tone deaf" after endorsing a very expensive full-body scan that she described as "life-saving."
On Tuesday, the 42-year-old "The Kardashians" actress shared an Instagram photo of herself next to a Prenuvo body scanner.
The mother of four claimed she underwent a full-body MRI scan, which allows for early detection of a variety of diseases, and admitted that the gadget "really saved some of my friends' lives."
"The Prenuvo full-body scan has the ability to detect cancer and diseases such as aneurysms in their earliest stages before symptoms appear,
she captioned her photo. "It was like getting an MRI for an hour with no radiation."
The founder of SKIMS noted that she "wanted to share" the benefits of the technology and underlined that the essay is "not an ad."
According to Prenuvo's website, the platform's 363 million fans rapidly discovered that a single scan costs a hefty $2,499.
