Luke Grimes releases a new rendition of 'Hold On'.

Luke Grimes' new rendition of "Hold On" features Irish singer-songwriter Foy Vance, who co-wrote the single. Vance and Ilsey Juber wrote the Dave Cobb-produced song.

Grimes mentioned Northern Irish singer-songwriter Foy Vance to his management team. "Hold On" was proposed to Grimes after a failed writing session with Vance in Scotland.

Grimes says "Hold On" is her favorite song on the next album. I wanted Foy Vance, one of my favorite songwriters, on this record even though we couldn't meet. 

I loved the words of his uncut song. Fear of falling too deeply for someone and being hurt is familiar. "Anyone who has had their heart broken feels it.".

Adds Vance, “I was so happy to hear that Luke had cut ‘Hold On’ for his debut album and then equally honored to be asked to duet with him.”
