'Outlander' Debuts 9 Years Ago Looking Back On Its Best Episode

Sing me a song about a lost lass... For nine years, Starz's Outlander has delivered some of TV's best romance and adventure.

Sam Heughan and Caitríona Balfe brought Jamie and Claire Fraser to life on August 9, 2014, in the series.

Outlander's eighth and final season will have 10 episodes, as announced this winter. Jamie and Claire's on-screen love story has 19 episodes left after the Season 7 midseason finale on Friday,

August 11, and Season 7 Part 2 in 2024. One episode sums up everything excellent about this TV duo and the series.

Fans know who. “The Wedding.” Season 1 Episode 7 premiered September 20, 2014. It's worth rewatching given the series' subsequent gloom. Outlander viewers feel forlorn. This episode heals.

In it, Claire has recently been trapped in 1740s Scotland and has no idea how she got there or how to return back to her husband, Frank (Tobias Menzies), in the 1940s.

Claire likes Jamie, even though she loves Frank. Jamie feels the same way, but circumstances tie them before they can confess.

This episode is fantastic because Jamie and Claire nervously get to know each other after saying their vows. The sex scenes assist, but the first one is purposefully awkward.
