Fans at the front of the line waited outside the store for over 12 hours to see their favorite Starz star, enduring hunger, sleep deprivation, and terrible Austin temperatures.
Tammie Lesley got lucky first. The Midland resident said Austin.com she left work the day before, drove to Austin, and arrived at the store around midnight.
Her fandom was questioned. “The funny thing is, I didn’t even start watching it (Outlander) until about five weeks ago and then I couldn’t put it down,” Lesley remarked. “I’m obsessed.”
