Peacock released the official trailer for "The Continental," the latest "John Wick" film.
The Mel Gibson-led miniseries is a precursor to the Keanu Reeves movie and follows Winston Scott (Colin Woodell), who bought The Continental, a chain of hotels that housed assassins.
"The Continental," set in 1970s New York, features Donna Summer songs, Studio 54-style club scenes, and loads of weaponry.
Lionsgate Television's 2017 Starz project attracted attention. Gibson plays vicious kingpin Cormac alongside Woodell's Winston Scott (formerly Ian McShane).
The three-part miniseries stars Ayomide Adegun, Peter Greene, Ben Robson, Hubert Point-Du Jour, Jessica Allain, Mishel Prada, and Nhung Kate.
“This sacred institution wields power beyond your imagination,” Gibson tells Woodell in the trailer.
Greg Coolidge, Kirk Ward, and Shawn Simmons write and executive produce "The Continental" with Ken Kristensen.
"The Continental" executive producer Albert Hughes directed Parts 1 and 3, while Charlotte Brandstrom directed Part 2.
