The Continental Trailer Transports the John Wick Universe to New York in the 1970s.

Ding-ding, ding! Enter hotel concierge mode. The Continental's action-packed trailer promises plenty of carnage (and cravats!) from the three-part limited series.

The show follows a young Winston (played by Ian McShane) in the 1970s.

Considering Chad Stahelski isn't directing, there's a lot of impressive-looking action and a heightened tone that suggests The Continental might lean on the underground lunacy created in the John Wick flicks.

With its lively soundtrack and retro clothing, it makes the most of its 1970s setting.

Most significantly, there are several assassins who want to shoot up the building that will become Winston and John's safe haven (until he's excommunicated). Mel Gibson is here. Thus, beware.

“The three-part event will explore the origin behind the iconic hotel-for-assassins centerpiece of the John Wick universe through the eyes and actions of a young Winston Scott,

as he’s dragged into the Hell-scape of 1970s New York City to face a past he thought he’d left behind.

Winston navigates the hotel's dangerous underground to grab the hotel where he will finally rule.
