Tory Lanez has maintained his innocence following his ten-year prison sentence for shooting his then-girlfriend Megan Thee Stallion in the foot.
In an Instagram post on Thursday, the musician claimed responsibility for all of the times he shared with the singer but denied the gunshot charges.
He stated in his statement that he would not allow "jail time eliminate me."
"I have never been intimidated by adversity, and I will never be eliminated by incarceration."
"Regardless of how they spin my words, I have always maintained my innocence and will continue to do so," he said.
"This week in court, I accepted responsibility for all verbal and private interactions I had with the persons involved.... That's all.
He emphasized that his tweet was "in no way, shape, or form apologizing for the charges I'm being wrongfully convicted of."
"I remain firm in my refusal to apologize for something I did not do," he said.
