Worrying injury for Raptors' Dennis Schroder ahead of FIBA World Cup

Dennis Schroder, a senior guard for the Toronto Raptors, has played for five different

NBA clubs in the last five years and hence may be considered a "journeyman" in the league.

The 29-year-old has been a stalwart and the team captain for the German men's national basketball team since 2014.

Germany, more than any other squad, is reliant on Schroder's fitness and participation.

 which won an exhibition game against Canada's national men's basketball team on August 9 as both teams trained for the 2023 FIBA World Cup.

Schroder, who had 15 points, 8 boards, and 7 assists, was a major factor in their 86-81 triumph.
